Insert injection moulding
Inserts such as —
- pins
- contacts
- conductor rails/busbars
- threaded pins
- threaded bushings
- coils etc.
— are inserted into the tool by hand before the inserts are injection-moulded.
At the prototype stage we avoid automating the insert technology, as the set-up process would involve a disproportionately large amount of work and time, something which would only be profitable on correspondingly larger production runs.
